Apparently brutalist websites were one of the hottest web design trends of... 2018. So I guess they qualify for retro-futurist nostalgia now.

Some of these directories of so-called "brutalist" websites don't seem to have much of a clue what brutalism is, and mainly seem to mean either "minimalist" or "brutally functional in a Warholesque kind of way." The target creative template appears to be supermarket websites. But I guess misunderstanding is more interesting than pedantry.
